Aayush is a Partner in the Corporate and M&A, Private Equity & Venture Capital practice of the Firm. He has significant experience in having advised private equity firms, strategic investors, multinational corporations, as well as founders on domestic and cross-border transactions across a broad range of sectors including infrastructure, healthcare, pharmaceutical, hospitals, manufacturing and e-commerce. Aayush also has experience in strategizing, managing and settlement of disputes arising from M&A transactions, and corporate advisory on business-as-usual matters.

Aayush holds a B.B.A. LL.B degree from Symbiosis Law School, Pune.

  • Advised Tega Industries on its JV with Apollo and Tega-Apollo JV on ~USD 1.5 Billion acquisition of Molycop Group.
  • Advised Drydocks World Dubai FZCO (DP World group) on its proposed joint venture and bid (withdrawn) for ONGC’s ~993 km offshore pipeline project.
  • Advised DP World on its proposed acquisition of a substantial minority stake in an Indian atmospheric water generator company.
  • Advised DP World on its joint venture agreement in relation to one of India’s largest multi – modal logistics park.

  • Advised Edelweiss Alternative Asset Advisors on its acquisition of 4 Essel Infra’s power transmission assets, for an approximate consideration of INR 6,000 crores.

  • Advised Suzlon on its various commercial contracts for supply and maintenance of wind turbines.
  • Advised Syrma SGS Technology on its joint venture with Premier Energies to acquire KSolare Energy.
  • Advised Syrma SGS Technology on its strategic joint venture with South Korea’s Shinhyup Electronics.
  • Advised Surya Hospitals on Novo Holdings’ significant minority investment and exit of Sealink Capital Partners.
  • Advised Al Faisaliah Group (of Saudi Arabia) on its acquisition of a minority stake in a tech-enabled cancer treatment company.
  • Advised CVC Capital on its acquisition of a majority stake in HealthCare Global, for an approximate consideration of INR 1,100 crores.
  • Advised Merck on the sale of its consumer health business to Procter & Gamble, for an approximate consideration of USD 4.2 billion.
  • Advised InvAscent on its investment in eye care chain Sharp Sight, for an approximate consideration of INR 70 crores.
  • Advised InvAscent on its investment in API manufacturer Symbiotec, for an approximate overall transaction consideration of USD 100 million.
  • Advised API Holdings (PharmEasy) and its founders on the various funding rounds of the company.
