Our disputes practice is primarily focused on commercial, contractual and regulatory disputes. We advise clients on strategies in ongoing litigation, potential disputes, recovery and enforcement proceedings, arbitration, conciliation & mediation and a host of regulatory matters. We handle matters before courts, quasi-judicial authorities as well as tribunals, including the Supreme Court of India, High Courts of various states, District Courts, National Company Law Tribunal, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, Debts Recovery Tribunal, Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, National Green Tribunal, the Competition Commission of India*, the Appellate Tribunal for Foreign Exchange, the Securities and Exchange Board of India, Securities Appellate Tribunal, Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal*, Appellate Tribunal under the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act, Appellate Tribunal under the Prevention of Money-laundering Act, Labour Courts, Industrial Tribunals and Consumer Forums.
We are also actively engaged in various domestic arbitrations, both ad-hoc and institutional, as well as international commercial arbitration proceedings under the auspices of Singapore International Arbitration Centre and International Chamber of Commerce. Our expertise in arbitration encompasses shareholder disputes and commercial contracts in the power, energy, automation and engineering sectors.

- Represented HDFC Limited (now merged with HDFC Bank) in the insolvency proceedings of IL&FS.
- Represented the resolution professional in the insolvency proceedings of Supertech Limited.
- Representing the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in its insolvency proceedings against BYJU`s before the Supreme Court and NCLT, Bengaluru.
- Represented the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) before the Supreme Court in the matter involving mandatory linking of AADHAR in order to avail various benefits under government schemes.
- Advising and handling various matters for Ex. Partners of Price Waterhouse in the Satyam Scam before various fora like SEBI, SAT, High Courts, Supreme Court, ICAI etc.
- Regularly advise and appear for the Volkswagen Group in India which handles premium brands like Audi, Lamborghini, Porsche, Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited and also, Mercedes Benz in various fora including the Supreme Court, High Court, Competition Commission and Consumer Forum from time to time.
Representing Western Concessions Private Limited in an arbitration initiated by Afcon Sener, a joint venture between Afcons India and Sener Spain, in respect of setting up of a land-based terminal for storage of liquefied natural gas and construction of jetty.
Representing ABB India Limited in several arbitrations in India across power, automation, and infrastructure disputes.
Representing Thermax Limited in an arbitration against a chemical and fertilizer producer in India under the ownership of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers of the Government of India.
Representing Sterling and Wilson Limited in its arbitration with Bridge Data Centres, one of Asia’s largest data centre companies backed by Google LLC and Bain Capital.
