The Firm has an employment and labour law team, which has developed significant expertise in this area of practice and well poised to address and provide practical and solution oriented advice to all kind of employment and labour related issues faced by corporates, be it contentious or drafting of employment policies and procedures, or drafting of stock option related documents.
We have advised some of the leading corporates in addressing various employee related issues. The range of offerings involves providing opinion on various contentious issues, advising on applicability of a particular legislation to a client, strategizing with the client to address potential contentious issues such as matters requiring disciplinary proceeding or settlement procedures, responding to show cause notice or general sensitization workshop on POSH. The Firm has also advised government departments in relation to service law aspects, such as regularization of temporary employees or application of ‘equal work equal pay’ doctrine.
We also regularly undertake diligence activities on corporates to identify the issues with the processes employed by the corporates and suggest mitigation solutions.
The Firm also advises on structuring and setting up of welfare trust for the benefit of its employees.
