  1. Advised HDFC Limited on its merger with HDFC Bank to create India\u2019s second-largest bank, marking India\u2019s largest-ever public M&A transaction valued at USD 60 billion.<\/li>
  2. Advised Tega Industries Limited (a company engaged in the manufacturing of mining consumables) on the formation of its joint venture with Apollo Global Management and also advised the Tega-Apollo joint venture on the acquisition of Molycop Group at an enterprise value of ~ USD 1.5 billion from American Industrial Partners.<\/li>
  3. Advised the Board of Control for Cricket in India (\u201cBCCI\u201d) on the tendering of media rights for the Indian Premier League (“IPL”) for more than USD 6 billion, making it the second most valued sporting league in the world in terms of per-match value.<\/li>
  4. Advised Tata Steel Limited on the merger involving seven of its subsidiary\/associate entities (out of which four are listed entities) into Tata Steel Limited.<\/li>
  5. Advised GRUH Finance (a subsidiary of HDFC Limited) on its merger with Bandhan Bank, one of the largest deals in the financial services sector, with a combined market cap of USD 12 billion.<\/li>
  6. Advised HDFC Limited (now merged with HDFC Bank) on the acquisition of L&T General Insurance and merger with HDFC ERGO. This deal is the first instance of consolidation in the domestic general insurance space after it was opened up to the private sector in the year 2000.<\/li>
  7. Advised a group of private sector banks on their acquisition of a stake in Yes Bank pursuant to a Scheme of Reconstruction notified by the central government under the Banking Regulation Act.<\/li>
  8. Advised Tata Steel Limited on the acquisition of Usha Martin (Steel Division) in one of the largest deals in the steel sector outside the framework of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.<\/li>
  9. Advised Ampere Computing\u00a0 (Ampere), a leading semiconductor design company specialising in high-performance, energy-efficient and sustainable AI compute built on the ARM platform, on its acquisition by Japan\u2019s SoftBank Group Corporation (SBG) for USD 6.5 billion.<\/li>
