  1. Advised Tata Steel Limited on entering into one of the largest captive power arrangement in India with TP Vardhaman Surya Limited (a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited). The project comprised of a ~965.8 MW hybrid captive power ISTS connected project to be set up in various states in India.
  2. Advising Brookfield Renewables on its ISTS-connected captive power project located in Rajasthan including drafting the share subscription cum shareholders’ and power purchase agreement between Brookfield, the RE Developer and captive consumer.
  3. Advised JBM Renewables on its 70 MW solar captive power project in Haryana including drafting the shareholders’ arrangement between the developer, the SPV and captive consumer.
  4. Advised BluPine Energy on INR 1,787 crore financing for renewable energy projects.
  5. Advising AMPIN Energy Transition Private Limited (formerly known as AMP Energy India Private Limited ) on conducting title due diligence on: (a) 138 acres of land in Jharkhand; and (b) 1100 acres of land in Rajasthan, for setting up solar power projects.
  6. Advising Brookfield Renewables (Operating) India Private Limited on various diligence and regulatory issues pertaining to its project land in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.
  7. Advised CTUIL (a subsidiary of PGCIL) on regulatory and contractual matters, including drafting a standard operating procedure for evaluating land documents submitted by connectivity applicants under the Detailed Procedure issued under Connectivity Regulations, and drafting a tripartite agreement between the transmission service provider, CTUIL, and the generating station to coordinate commissioning as per the Sharing Regulations mandated by CERC.

Advising AMPIN Energy Transition Private Limited (formerly known as AMP Energy India Private Limited) on conducting title due diligence for land across multiple states for setting up solar power projects, including 138 acres in Jharkhand, 1,100 acres in Rajasthan, 65 acres in Maharashtra, and 181 acres in Odisha, with additional assistance in land acquisition for the Odisha project.
  9. Advising Suzlon Energy on setting up wind power projects on a turn-key basis, including a 67 MW project in Maharashtra and 500 MW across Karnataka (300 MW and 200 MW projects).

Advised State Bank of India in relation to the credit facilities aggregating to Rs. 150,95,00,000 to a renewable energy company in India for funding 78 solar rooftop power projects under US-India Clean Energy Finance Initiative (USICEF), launched by Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) and the Government of India.

Advised ICICI Bank Limited in connection with the credit facilities, including rupee term loan, letter of credit and bank guarantee facilities, provided by them to Aditya Birla Renewables Subsidiary Limited. The funds were to be utilized, inter-alia, for implementation of a solar power project with a capacity of 30 MWp (DC) in Odisha.

Advised ICICI Bank Limited in connection with the credit facilities, including rupee term loan, letter of credit, letter of undertaking and bank guarantee facilities, provided by them to Aditya Birla Renewables Limited. The funds were to be utilised, inter-alia, for implementation of a solar power project with a capacity of 20 MWp (DC) in Karnataka.
  31. Advised ICICI Bank Limited in connection with the credit facilities, including rupee term loan, letter of credit, letter of undertaking and bank guarantee facilities, provided by them to Aditya Birla Renewables SPV 1 Limited. The funds were to be utilised, inter-alia, for implementation of a solar power project with a capacity of 8 MWp (DC) in Karnataka.
  32. Advised one of the largest foreign banks operating in India in connection with the credit facilities, including rupee term loan, letter of credit and bank guarantee facilities, provided by them to the solar power segment of an Indian multinational conglomerate. The funds are to be utilised, inter-alia, for implementation of 3 solar power projects in Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

Advised ICICI Bank Limited in connection with the credit facilities, including rupee term loan, letter of credit and bank guarantee facilities, provided by them to Aditya Birla Renewables SPV 1 Limited. The funds were to be utilised, inter-alia, for implementation of a solar power project with a capacity of 5 MWp (DC) in Gujarat.
  34. Advised Union Bank of India in relation to the credit facilities aggregating to INR 377,00,00,000 to a renewable energy company in India for a solar park power project in Maharashtra. The structure in this case is quite different from general power projects; the Sponsor owns the land and is undertaking a solar park project comprising of 2 separate projects to be undertaken by 2 different SPVs.
  35. Advised Bank of Baroda in relation to the credit facilities of Rs. 291,10,00,000 Crores to Kaze Energy Limited (subsidiary of IL&FS Wind Energy Limited) for setting up a green-field wind farm with a capacity of 48.30 MW wind-mill power plant with 21 wind turbines of 2.3 MW capacity each at Lalpur and Jamnagar in Gujarat.
  36. Advised HDFC Limited in relation to the credit facilities of approximately Rs. 100 crore provided by them to Apraava Renewable Energy Private Limited, a group company of Apraava Energy.
  37. Advised Etesian Urja Limited (a subsidiary of IL&FS Wind Energy Limited) in relation to refinance of its existing loans by Power Finance Corporation in relation to 50 MW wind power project.
  38. Advised an infrastructure debt fund carrying out its operations through the NBFC route in connection with the credit facilities provided by them to a renewable energy company. The funds are to be utilised, inter-alia, for refinancing of existing debts in connection with multiple wind power projects with a combined capacity of 34.5 MWp in Gujarat.
  39. Advised ICICI Bank Limited for loans/ facilities availed by First Energy TN 1 Private Limited for an aggregate amount of up to Rs. 57,16,00,000.
