Swaraj started his career at the Firm in 2020 and is a part of the Banking & Finance and Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency practice in Mumbai.
Having completed his BA LL.B. degree from National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal in 2017, Swaraj began his career with Khaitan and Co., Mumbai, where he advised financial institutions and banks on several project and debt financing transactions.
His core areas of practice include advising on lending transactions, including structured finance and project finance, as well as issuance of debt instruments. He also regularly advises banks and financial institutions on restructuring and insolvency matters. He has a keen interest in and closely follows, developments in the financial services regulatory space as well as restructuring laws. He is enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.
